The publication dits, dahs features drawings by Judith Herman, created during a residency at the Herman Teirlinck House. The publication was riso printed by Risiko Press. The drawings are based on Morse code and are constructed through a unique system of color and arrangement.

Retour is a collaboration between Clara Borg Verbeke and Judith Herman and is both a publisher of artists’ publications and an artist collective. In this collaboration, both our own work and the work of other artists are published. The central impulse of Retour publishing house is an exploration of the publication. Under this banner they produce publications and exhibitions, always based on a partnership. A series of books in the tradition of the livre d’artiste focuses on the interaction between drawings, text, format and print.
