From May 14 to 17, 2026, Antwerp Art organizes the 12th edition of Antwerp Art Weekend. For four days, contemporary art once again takes over the entire city of Antwerp, with an ambitious and wide-ranging program of exhibitions, events, performances, talks, and festive gatherings.
For the occasion, we welcome M HKA in Tique to shed a light on The Artist’s Novel. During these days you can discover The Book Lovers in our space. This research project focuses on the phenomenon of the artist’s novel and is curated by David Maroto and Joanna Zielińska. The central question is how a literary genre like the novel can be considered a medium in its own right within the visual arts, as video or installation could be.
Opening times during the Antwerp Art Weekend:
Thursday May 14, from 12:00-21:00
Friday May 15, from 12:00-18:00
Saturday May 16, from 12:00-18:00
Sunday May 17, from 12:00-18:00
