In this book, artist Anton Cotteleer investigates how the skin of a sculpture can influence the content of the artwork, and vice versa. In this way, he wants to gain a better understanding of the possible meanings of the skin. How does the skin of the work influence the form and content of the sculpture? He conducted interviews with six fellow artists and himself: Bart Van Dijck, Fia Cielen, Folkert de Jong, Peter Buggenhout, Peter Rogiers, and Tim Breukers.
