Inventario 19: Everything Is A Project

Inventario 19 opens with a cover dedicated to the palette – both a working tool and a symbol of artistic practice – accompanied by a special text by Franco Toselli. Essays explore Florian Slotawa’s Garden Tools and the logic of the ready-made, the frame as threshold and site of experimentation, and Cecé Casile’s four decades of bespoke frames for photographers such as Luigi Ghirri. Other features revisit poetic design projects, iconic posters by Armando Testa and Armando Milani, the trajectory of Diller Scofidio + Renfro, tabletop clocks by Giulio Iacchetti, and Nathalie Du Pasquier’s painterly freedom. Inventario has been awarded the ADI Compasso d’Oro Prize.
