This artist’s pocketbook comes in six languages: the original German language, translated into Dutch, French, English, Japanese, and Nepalese.

This is a conceptual publishing project that consists of a mainly blank book, open to every possible idea and image. Things, that cannot be put into words: What has disappeared, the snatched away, the absent, the nothingness, and the void are made present. Therefore, these books are a space for the conceivable, where words fail. Marie-Sophie Beinke’s artist’s books invite the reader to critical thinking, dialogue, and debate.
