Cut Down Build Up. On Abstraction

Explore the fascinating interplay between visual art and architecture in ‘Cut Down Build Up.’ This book delves into three thought-provoking dialogues initiated by two talented visual artists and an architect, each with a unique perspective on abstraction and architecture. Rather than a dry analysis, this book takes a hands-on, practical approach to the subject. Through experimentation, creation, and mutual exploration, Hans Demeulenaere, Dimitri Vangrunderbeek, and Thierry Lagrange, along with Architectural critic Jolien Naeyaert, offer a fresh and engaging perspective on the intersection of art and architecture.
