UNRULY. The Body in Punk, is created by Marrow Press in collaboration with ARoS and edited by Marie Arleth Skov. Published alongside the exhibition of the same name, this image-rich volume is both an independent work and the culmination of years of research. Exploring the body as punk’s most radical material, it examines identity, resistance, gender, sexuality, and social control through essays, artworks, photography, and archival material. Contributions from leading international scholars and artists expand punk beyond music into a broader cultural revolution. Fifty years on, UNRULY shows why punk’s questions remain urgent and relevant.
